11 Aug 2012 Interview with Wedding Photographer Pete Leong (Podcast 346)
Here’s an interview I recorded with my friend Pete Leong who’s an amazing wedding photographer based in Okinawa, the southern-most group of islands in Japan. Pete and I have been friends for a number of years now, though we met in person for the first time during my recent trip to Okinawa, and it was great to be able to record this 30 minute interview, and bring you some tips and tricks from a front-line wedding photographer, as well as share some of Pete’s incredible work.
This recording was totally unscripted, so there is no manuscript today, but here are the images that we looked at as we progressed through the interview, in case you don’t listen to the enhanced podcast version in iTunes or on your iPad or iPhone etc.
Here are eight of Pete’s images that we discussed during our chat.
You can see more of Pete’s work on Flickr.
Here too, is a photo of Pete that I quickly shot as we grabbed coffee out at Cape Zanpa, so that you can get a good visual of the man behind the voice!

Posted at 10:05h, 12 AugustThanks again Martin for another great interview with thoughtful tips and advice. Any chance finding out which lenses Pete used for his sample photos or his camera settings?

If you click on the thumbnails at the bottom of the post, the camera and exposure settings, plus focal length are all visible, though you may have to scroll down to see the focal length.
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
Martin.
